The Links, Incorporated is a not-for-profit corporation established in 1946, with current membership consisting of more than 16,000 professional women of African descent in the United States, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. Our core values include friendship, integrity, honesty, service, commitment and respect for self and others. As part of our commitment to serving our community and supporting youth, the Stockton (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated provides academic scholarships to deserving high school seniors. This year we will select three students from the Central Valley to each receive a $1500 scholarship.
Criteria and Eligibility:
- Current high school senior of African-American descent living in San Joaquin or Stanislaus Counties
- Applicant must demonstrate participation in extracurricular activities
- Applicant GPA must be 3.0 or higher
