Kristin Smart graduated from Lincoln High School in Stockton, California in 1995. She was a college freshman at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo from 1995 to 1996. She was a young woman who embraced life, sought new adventures and looked forward to exploring the world’s nature and architecture. Unfortunately, her dreams were lost when she was abducted in 1996 and has been missing since. Her family hopes this scholarship aids in the passing of her aspirations onto other young women. The female recipient of this scholarship should share Kristin’s passions for nature and travel.
